My history
A Safe Place to Explore, Understand, and Grow
Welcome. I’m Dr Sara Trayman, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, and I believe in the power of compassionate, collaborative therapy. At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you or your child can feel safe, heard, and supported.

No two people are the same, and neither are their journeys. I bring together a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual—whether that’s a young person learning to express difficult feelings, a parent navigating family challenges, or an adult working through past or present struggles. Together, we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels right, building greater understanding and resilience along the way.
I am proud to offer an inclusive, affirming practice. I work from a neuroaffirmative perspective, recognising and valuing neurodiversity, and adapting my approach to meet individual sensory, communication, and processing needs. I am also an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and an active ally to those exploring or questioning their gender identity. My priority is to provide a space where every aspect of who you are can be seen, respected, and explored without judgment.
My Approach
My work is integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based models to best support the person in front of me. This includes relational, psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches. My style is warm, collaborative, and curious. I work holistically—exploring your emotional world, relationships, and environment as interconnected parts of who you are.
Whether we're working on building emotional insight, developing new coping strategies, or making sense of long-standing patterns, I aim to support clients in reconnecting with their inner resources and moving towards more satisfying and meaningful lives.
