I provide face to face individual counselling sessions, usually up until 50 minutes long and the fee is £110.00.
For those sessions funded by private healthcare the fee is £120.00 (including administration fee for invoicing-see below).
I can also offer telephone/remote via zoom therapy (payable a session in advance). Sessions which are usually 50 minutes and the fee is £110.00 per session (including assessment session).
I offer sessions for parents struggling with their children’s behaviour or forming a relationship with their children. These Therapeutic consultation sessions are offered from £110.00 per session (including assessment session of £120.00 if funded by private healthcare).
I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Should you cancel with less notice than this or not attend the session you will still be liable to pay for this session. Please check with your private healthcare provider as they often do not cover these fees in which case you would be liable to pay for them yourself.
I will ask you to pay by bank transfer for your first session in order to confirm the appointment booking. Further sessions are requested to be paid for two days before the session by bank transfer.
Private Healthcare Insurance
If you do hold private healthcare insurance there is a possibility you would be able to claim for psychological therapy, depending on the cover that you hold. I currently hold recognition as a provider of healthcare with AXA-PPP, PruHealth, Aviva, SimplyHealth, WPA and others.
Some insurance companies will require a referral from a GP or pre-authorisation from a psychiatrist to validate a claim to see a Psychologist so again it is worth checking this with your insurer first.
Also if you intend to use private healthcare insurance and your insurance policy does not cover the full cost of each session, you will be required to pay any of the fee not covered by your policy. It is your responsibility to check with your insurers before the session if any of the fee cannot be covered by them.
I would be able to assist you in arranging for the costs of your appointments to be covered under your insurance, but it is worth contacting them directly first to understand what you are covered for.
Please do contact me directly to discuss fees further.
